Sydney Gay and Lesbian Choir are going HOME

I recently collaborated with the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Choir again for their upcoming performance ‘HOME: Voices Without Borders’. However this time it wasn’t just an image, but a promotional video telling a short story about finding yourself in a place that feels like home.

This was my first video shoot for a client and was shot on a Sony Alpha A55 DSLR at various locations around Sydney. We started late afternoon at a sunny Circular Quay and made our way to St James Station and Hyde Park. Additional city shots were taken a few days later.

Andrew Dunn from the SGLC directed and edited the video and the final result looks great. The soundtrack features the choir singing ‘Home’ by Phillip Phillips.

‘HOME: Voices Without Borders’ is at Paddington Town Hall on Sat 28 June, 7.30pm. You can purchase tickets online and follow the SGLC on Facebook.
